The month-end close, as six prompts your team runs on the export.
No migration. No new ledger. Nothing posts to the books. Export the trial balance, the bank statement and the GL detail, paste a prompt, and Claude hands back the work an accountant would do first: the unexplained movements, the reconciliation, the workpaper, the commentary, and one clean message to the client.
The PDF and the prompts unlock right here, with an offer if you decide to work with HaiFi. You’ll also get the weekly Operator’s Edge playbook. Unsubscribe anytime.
What’s in the pack
Six prompts, in the order a close actually runs.
- 01
Trial balance sweep
Four months of trial balances in. Every account that moved with nothing offsetting it out, ranked, with the question to ask about each.
- 02
Close checklist from the client's own chart of accounts
A close checklist where every step names real account codes and balances, with skip reasons for cash basis and per-system notes for QBO and Xero.
- 03
Bank statement to ledger
Matched items as a count, exceptions in five buckets, the reconciliation with the difference isolated, and stale items over 60 days.
- 04
Balance sheet rec workpaper
One reconciliation block per material account and a coverage table that shows which balances have no support at all.
- 05
Management commentary in your firm's wording
Learns your voice from a sample, writes the commentary, and lists every sentence it could not back with a number.
- 06
One message to the client
Triage first, then at most seven plain-English questions in one message. Not twelve emails.
Every prompt is written to say “not in the exports” rather than guess, to describe adjustments instead of writing journal entries, and to tell you where it stops. A clean output with no caveats deserves a second look, and the prompts say so.
Try the first one before you give us your email.
Export last month’s trial balance and the three before it. Ask Claude for every account that moved more than 20% with nothing offsetting it elsewhere. If it hands back things your reviewer missed, the ledger was never the constraint. Prompt 1 is that question, with the offset logic, the structural flags, and the rules that keep it from inventing a reason.
Where the free version stops
The pack reads exports and hands the work back. The connected version does the rest.
| The free pack | HaiFi, connected |
|---|---|
| Reads the exports you attach. | Reads the live ledger and bank feed every business day. |
| Finds the exceptions and hands them back. | Sends the client questions itself, chases them, and re-asks only what is still open. |
| Proposes adjustments in a sentence. Posts nothing. | Posts the approved fixes to Xero or QuickBooks, after an accountant signs off. |
| Forgets last month when the chat ends. | Rolls forward from the prior signed-off workpaper and flags what drifted. |
Firms and fractional CFOs run HaiFi under their own name at a fixed wholesale price per client. Books reconciled daily, closed within five business days of month-end, approved by an accountant before anything reaches the client. Sign up for the pack and implementation is on us if you decide to work with HaiFi, valued at up to $3,000.
See it run on one of your client files.
A short new-client intro, one client, real books. You keep the client relationship and the margin.
